The CYSA Cal Soccer League (CCSL) is the only league that offers teams the opportunity to play in a state wide top level premier division or to play at a local if that team so desires. The main objective of the CCSL is to give the top soccer teams in Northern California an opportunity to play at the highest possible level week in week out. We firmly believe this will become a magnet for college coaches and scouts throughout the country.
The league is open to all CYSA affiliated Division 1 and Division 3 soccer teams within the U9 – U19 age groups. We realize the importance to place teams within a competitive division and the integrity of the league relies on well balanced competitive divisions. We offer a fall, spring and winter league to accommodate the changing needs of Northern California. Starting at the U9 age group relegation/promotion of teams will begin.
We believe that clubs and teams should be able to move players around to challenge individuals and to facilitate player shortages due to injuries, etc. While CYSA does not use club passes for players, CYSA does have a guest player policy that allows clubs / teams to accomplish this objective.
CCSL State Premier Division teams have the opportunity to earn the right to represent CYSA North in the Annual California Premier League State Championships. Sixteen of the finest teams the CCSL State Premier Division has to offer will be headed for a showdown with the Premier League Champions from Coast Soccer League from Southern California to discover which teams are clearly "the Best of the Best."
CYSA North and Cal South Coast Soccer League (CSL) founded the first truly Club Soccer State Championship and designated it as "The California Premier State Championships." The format for this event showcases the winners and finalists of the CCSL State Premier Divisions from CYSA North against the Coast Soccer League - Premier League Champions and Finalists. Each association sends their two best representatives in the State Premier League age groups of U14, U15, U16 and U17 for both genders.
This Years “California Premier State Championships” will be held in Southern California the weekend of November 12 -13.
